Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, and then release to open recent apps.

You can restrict background data by the app on your Google Pixel 4a and other Pixels using the below steps.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and tap on the Settings icon.

Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.

Step 3: Tap See all apps.

Step 5: Tap Mobile data and Wi-Fi.
